Offseason

Well I messed around and played a little bit of ball earlier this year in the local league. Like I said earlier in previous blogs it is all outdoor concrete courts back here in St.kitts the level of competition isn't that good, a few players can ball but most lack fundamentals. Unfortunately the championship winning club that I left to return to college a few years ago was dismantled, but if it the offseason now and I got my old back court buddy at home and we are reorganising our team and starting to workout. He is coming off a knee injury but it is nice to have some one who play with the same intensity as I do.
I find basketball here a bit backward everyone plays zone most players have no idea how to play man to man. As for the team I played for( McKnight Trotters ) it is straight street ball no idea of structure. They have two kids who are slasher they basically catch the ball and bow there head an attack the basketball. I could see if they were playing vs better players they would be called for charges and foul themselves out of the games. Anyway played mostly Point our team made it to the finals (W-1 L-2) we won the first game but I had to travel to the US, for the last two which we to lost. Not too disappointed though cause the team that won was from my town.( Running joke is that I have never lost to them well at least my team haven't lost as Long as I am on the court, it is a bragging rights thing.)
I got three kids( 2 girls 1 boy) to go to my old University all three go real potential to be great at the NAIA.
Anyway hit me lets me know what's going on
