I was in grade 10 and when out to basketball practice, it was the first practice and we didnt have a big team at all so there wasnt any try-outs. I always liked basketball before that but wasnt entirely devoted to it being i was a soccer player, anyways we did some drills and that but it wasnt a very hard practice, i remember my gym teacher hassling me to come out and play! I always liked basketball before that but wasnt entirely devoted to it being i was a soccer player, anyways we did some drills and that but it wasnt a very hard practice, i remember my gym teacher hassling me to come out and play! He said he wasnt resting till I came out. The funny thing is I was going to come out! I came out and realized it about the first game that i wanted to play and excel in that sport that i felt was right. I have been playing all sports almost my whole life, soccer being my main one! I played soccer for 9 years and was going to go on until I played bball. I automatically quit and started playing bball whenever i could whether it was outside in the cold or when I had a spare or I would ocassionally skip class just so i can get playing time! I knew that it was right because when i play I just get this feeling that theres nothing else in the world but me playing what I wish I could be doing every second of the day. In all my 9 years of soccer not once have I felt what I feel when i play baskteball. It's like I'm secure and nothing can stop or touch me! It is definitely my #1 priority and know that I want to play on in a professional league.</p>
