This is your official invitation to participate in New Beginning for Youth's 4th Annual Midwest Shoot-Out; considered by many as one of the top basketball tournaments in Ohio. The New Beginning For Youth Organization takes great pride and effort in providing a tournament that is fun, competitive and well organized. The Midwest Shoot-Out, itself, was specifically designed to allow players to participate in front of professional scouts and agents in a competitive and entertaining environment.

Last year was a huge success for the Midwest Shoot-Out. We had 22 highly competitive teams who traveled from Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Illinois, Indiana and other neighboring cities and states to compete for the title of "Best in the Midwest". Team Violators (Ohio) turned in the best performance and took home the first place trophy and the $4000 prize money.

This year the Midwest Shoot-Out will be spread over three days of double elimination games with a single elimination final event. The tournament will be held July 20 thru 22nd at World Harvest, located at 58 Gender Road, Columbus, Ohio 43232. There will be a slam dunk contest held on Saturday. The championship team will receive $4000, a "Championship Team Trophy" and T-shirts. The second place team will receive a team trophy and T-shirts. In addition, we will also award a Tournament "Most Valuable Player".

The tournament entry fee is $580, due no later than June 22nd. However, the early bird entry fee is $500, due no later than May 31st. Payments will be accepted, only, in the form of a cashiers check or money order, with the exception of online payments which may be made through PayPal.
