There has been a lot going on in the Texas in the past couple of weeks stemming from a guy by the name of Adam Harris, but who is Adam Harris? I believe that it's only right to put the facts out there about the whole situation involving Mr. Adam Harris aka playerscoach aka scoutcoach.

In the past Mr. Adam Harris has been given several opportunities to clarify all allegations brought toward him. All e-mails and phone calls have not been returned and have gone unanswered. On December 12, 2007, Mr. Harris sent out a mass e-mail to a number of SWBL players in an attempt to slander and bring negative attention to the Southwest Basketball League and Mr. Brinkley himself. Many concerned players have been in contact with Mr. Brinkley and they have been brought up to date on the “dysfunctional situation”.

Mr. Adam Harris has also attempted to contact several players trying to get them to go overseas to Australia to play for the Somerset Heat Basketball under the direction of Sports & Competitions Manager Kirk Pinner who is actually a convicted felon and Mr. Pinner was found guilty of aggravated battery of an 11 month old baby. As for Benigo Basketball League, Somerset Heat Basketball, and Pro Hoops Australia, which are also previous employers of Adam Harris and also under the direction of Kirk Pinner, is not affiliated with usbasket.com nor eurobasket.com. Secondly, Mr.Harris indicated to players and staff that he has never coached before but through further investigation, he was the former CEO and Head Coach in Pro Hoops Australia from 1996 until 2002. Mr Harris is currently the Head Coach and Recruiter of the Somerset Heat Basketball according to his email received on August 29, 2007. The Southwest Basketball League has tried to contact Somerset Basketball for a response but all e-mails and phone calls have not been returned and have gone unanswered. If that's not enough, Mr. Harris has indicated on his resume that he graduated from Rochville University, where he received a degree in Master of Business Administration in Sports Management (Graduated 5/06) and Awards in Excellence; Certificate of Distinction. Under further investigation, Wikipedia has indicated the Rochville University is not accredited by any recognized accreditation bodies in the United States. Therefore, its degrees and credits might not be acceptable to employers or other institutions. The organizations from which Rochville has claimed accreditation are not recognized accreditation associations and it has been accused of being a diploma mill. These are allegation that have been launched towards Rochville University but for Adam Harris to link him with this particular university speaks volumes about his character. Finally, Adam Harris' profile is currently available on usbasket.com under player's database. Mr Harris' profile indicates Monroe CC (USA) 2002-2003 but under his profile it is listed as 1992-1993 and that Mr Harris won the award for being the assist leader at (NBDL) Try-out Camp in 2004 for the Roanoke Dazzle but was placed on injured reserve list??? The Southwest Basketball League has contacted the D-League of the NBA and Adam Harris has never played for the D-League nor the National Basketball Development League. Finally, It has been brought to my attention that alot of people have commented about the Southwest Basketball League without actually playing for the league or even attended a tryout. How can anybody comment about a league that they have never played for? The Southwest Basketball League has been around since 1997 and we have proof that Mr.Benjamin Brinkley and Charles Johnson are not one in the same!! Mr.Adam Harris has started this negative campign because he was caught lying on his basketball resume and other illegal basketball activities during his tenure with the league. I respect all players to hold judgement of the league until receiving all the facts, first
