The Maryland Nighthawks produced a huge surprise in the PBL 1/8 of Finals yesterday, defeating the higher ranked Wilmington Sea Dawgs 125-112. Omar Weaver (6'8''-F-80, college: Riverside JC) scored 26 pts to lead six other Nighthawks' players in double digits. Maryland meets today in quarterfinals the third seeded Reading Railers, winnner yesterday 136-120 over Jacksonville. Railers top gun was Jared Mills (6'6''-F-81, college: Randolph-Macon), who scored 25 points. In the other games of yesterday, Rockford defeated Dallas 121-108 and Arkansas defeated Chicago 115-102, and these two teams will meet together today afternoon they too, again at the Attack Athletics Center in Chicago. The winners of today Quarterfinals will play tomorrow the two division winners.
