Pro Basketball Americas, LLC To Take Over Global Basketball Alliance!

(Atlanta, Georgia) (January 10, 2008)- Don “Moose” Lewis, Managing Member of Global
Basketball Alliance, LLC, based in Atlanta, Georgia, announces that he has reached an agreement with Pro Basketball Americas, LLC, known as “the PBA” to purchase majority interest in the GBA and its female division, the WGBA (Women’s Global Basketball Alliance). “I have been extremely pleased with the direction of the GBA and the WGBA since we have begun preparations for the upcoming spring season and have been looking forward to the tip-off in May. Applications for new team licensees have been beyond expectations and we are so proud of the qualifications of applicants wishing to ‘Join the Alliance’. I had no intentions of relinquishing control of the GBA but once approached by Pro Basketball Americas and they shared their vision, I immediately knew that it was time to allow the GBA to move to the next level-which is to become the premier spring/summer league. Fortunately, the PBA is allowing me to continue as the Managing Member of the GBA while they become acclimated with the inner workings of the league.”

The Pro Basketball Americas, LLC was organized to create an entity to not only license teams to play in the Global Basketball Alliance, LLC but to also bring other leagues together in an affiliate program for the preservation and growth of the sport. Membership is available for teams all across the “Americas” and inter-league exhibition games between teams is expected year round. The PBA plans to expand its licensee program to include a fall/winter league for both male and female players in the near future .

States Moose Lewis, “I could not be happier than to be involved with the PBA. Not only do I share their vision but the additional financial resources that they bring will expedite the GBA’s plan of expansion and allow us to only allow the most qualified and professional licensees and personnel into the league.

For additional information, including team licensee information as well opportunities to be part of the GBA, please contact “Moose Lewis” by email or telephone.
