Top Skills

To Whom It May Concern:

I graduated in May of 2007 with honors from Central Connecticut State University, where I played Division I Basketball on a full basketball scholarship. At CCSU I had a coach who wouldn’t let me play the game I was capable of playing. However, I stayed within the system, playing the roll he wanted, and was instrumental in helping our team win our conference this past year and make it to the NCAA tournament.
Since college I have broken free from those restraints and am playing a high level of basketball, as the statistics indicate. Fundamentally speaking, one of my strengths is shooting. I have a very nice 15-17 foot jumper. Furthermore, as a big man, I have the unique ability of shooting the three at a high percentage. I have solid post skills with a soft touch in and around the rim. Also, I have good ball handling skills for a big man and I take pride in my ability to run and beat my man down the court on offence, and to be one of the first back on defense.
Defensively, I have always risen to the challenge of guarding the opposing team’s biggest players. I fill a lot of space down low and discourage shots in and around the paint. Also, I rebound at both ends of the court with proficiency. I play team basketball, looking to get my teammates involved, and I accomplish things that are not recorded, such as taking charges and hustling after every loose ball.
I am always looking to learn and improve my own game on a daily basis. I am very competitive and I am a player who likes to win at all costs. Teams I am on usually win games and championships.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Ingo Beaudet
