Personal Statement

Basketball has become a huge commitment in my life. I think about going pro everyday, especially when i'm practicing. Sadly there is no team at the college i go to, but i do practice with the university team every now and again because the coach will ask me to join in scrimmage. When i practice at the gym, i usually try to get in at least 2 hours. When i'm not in school, for example summer time, i'm at the gym usually in the mornings at 9 and i will be there until 6 in the evenings. That usually completes my full day workout. Some people say im crazy for the amount of time i put in but i just love doing this everyday like this! Also in the summer i try to set goals on how many shots i have to make that summer, last summer it was 80 000. i found that to be a good goal to have and i completed it. Just say one day i was off by 400, then that night i will do 400-500 push ups. Not in a row but take a rest between each round of push ups, its a really good work out. Then also if im not too tired, i will go out for a run to finish the day off. Summer workouts are the best workouts in my opinion.

Any ways i am so dedicated to getting as good as i can be and i just want to get to the highest level where ever that may be, i hope to get into contacts with agents as my college life comes to a close, i have already spoken to a few during college so im hoping for the best. Also hoping to go away this summer to play basketball in a special camp..
