Player Outlook:

Marcus is a great combo guard who can generate offense for others, as well as, himself. He has a scorer’s mentality, but can definitely play the role of a true point-guard. He has a great attitude, and without question, will do whatever his coach asks of him. Marcus is an incredible athlete/performer at either guard position, and possesses great desire, determination, dedication, and leadership qualities. He is a very savvy ball-handler, and plays with a “never say die” mentality. Marcus is compared by Donnie Marsh (University of Indiana Asst. Coach) to NBA player Damon Stoudamire, also left-handed, Marcus has the ability to blow by defenders and also keep the defense at bay with his shooting abilities. He displays a complete game with great ball-handling, passing and shooting skills, added to his relentless defense on opposing opponents, which creates turnovers and steals. Marcus is very quick and extremely fast with the ball, but also has the ability to slow it down and control the game-tempo. Marcus finds offensive solutions primarily in part to his abilities to break down defenders off the dribble, and takes effective mid-range jump shots. He also has the ability to hit the NBA and International three-point field goal at a very effective percentage. Marcus has proven to be a clutch player throughout his career and is very reliable when it comes down to winning. Marcus is definitely a solid player, and would be an asset to any pro franchise.
